Gandhi's doctrine of non-cooperation, and said that he did not believe in it, and could not support it, because he felt that
"if we are going to regulate everything in our country by the doctrine of non-violent non-cooperation, then I am afraid we are
forgetting human nature". |

In view of the fact that The Bombay Chronicle, had abandoned its policy of "neutrality" and became a protagonist of
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi 's non-cooperation program, resigned from the chairmanship of its Board of Directors and severed
all connections with it. |

solution acceptable to the non-cooperators and the Government but only to be thwarted by Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi who considered
it "undignified for the Congress to pass such a Resolution". |

resolved to request Working Committee of Indian National Congress to meet the All India Muslim League Council reps., including
Mohammed Ali Jinnah, to consider the All India Muslim League proposal. |
