1943, Jan 3 Wrote a letter to Mian Bashir Ahmad.

Jan 6 In a letter to Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad, finally refused to receive the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws sought to be conferred by All India Congress Committee.
Jan 24 Speaking as chief guest at Muslim Students Federation meeting in Bombay, held Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi responsible for the political deadlock.

Jan 25 Attended meeting of Bombay District Muslim Students Federation.
Jan 29 In a rejoinder to Chiang Sheik's statement issued at the end of his Indian trip, said: "I had the honor of meeting Marshal Chiang Kai-Shek. He frankly told me that he knew nothing of political problems of India. However, it is unfortunate that, in his message, he has indulged in generalities without understanding the political situation... it is a pity that he should have, without careful study, expressed his views which may be exploited to the detriment of Muslim India..."

Feb 24 In a letter, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi informed him that after going through his two letters he felt that the same warranted personal discussions instead of a discussion, through Letter; hence Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi requested him if he could see him at Segaon before March 10.
Mar 3 In a letter, informed Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi that he felt no change in his attitude; emphasized that the stage was reached "when no doubt should be left that you recognize the All India Muslim League as the authoritative and Representative organization of the Muslims of India."

Council condoled the death of Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi and condemned the dastardly and insane attack on Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah ; congratulating him for his providential escape. Council further decided that no Muslim League Member. Would join the Khaksar organization in future for its policies were hostile to the Muslim League demanded that those chapters of Swami Dayanand's Satyarath Prakash, which contained objectionable remarks against founders of religions, particularly against the Holy Prophet, be prescribed; expressed its concern against further Jewish immigration into Palestine and warned the British Government against any injustice done to the Palestine Arabs; forwarded S.M. Zauqi's res. regarding the political influence on the affairs of the Muslim holy shrine in Ajmer.

Dec 13 In a statement, issued a spirited rejoinder to Congress leaders on their opposition to the observance of "Day of Deliverance" on Friday, December 22 by Muslims.

Dec 17 In a statement said that the observance of the Day of Deliverance on Friday, December 22, was not based on communal basis, but just to take into account Congress Government's performance in provinces.
Dec 20 At the flag hoisting ceremony on the occasion of All India Muslim League 's 31st annual session at Karachi, said: "If we continue to consolidate ourselves, we are bound to achieve our goal. In our efforts to achieve our goal. Sind has a major role to play. Karachi will be the gateway of Pakistan.... Our flag symbolizes our national aspirations, and we must keep it aloft."

Dec 23 In an interview to the U.P.A., justified Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi's detention saying that, "He was arrested for his threat of a mass movement. Reason demands that he must withdraw that threat."

Dec 24-26 Presided over All India Muslim League's 31st annual session at Karachi. Welcome address given in Urdu by G.M . Syed, Chairman, Reception Committee, wherein he extensively quoted Iqbal to prove the case of Muslim nationhood and Pakistan. Jinnah expressed his willingness to come to an understanding with Government and the Hindus but on honourable terms.

Dec 25 Attended a civic reception given by Karachi Municipal Corporation.
Dec 26 In his concluding remarks at the Karachi session, said, "It is the great Book, Quran that is the sheet-anchor of Muslims India. I am sure that as we go on and on there will be more and more of oneness-one God, one Book, one Prophet and one Nation."
