Building of the Mausoleum
|
The mausoleum
has been built as a befitting memorial to the departed soul with donations
recieved from the public and land donated by the Government of Pakistan.
The foundation stone of the building was laid by Field Marshal Mohammad
Ayub Khan on July 31, 1960, and it was formally declared open after completion
by General Agha Mohammad Yahya Khan on January 18, 1971.
