Occasions

Mazar-e-Quaid
There are two momentous occasions every year - the Republic Day on March 23 and the Independence Day on August 14 - when a special march-past is given by the forces in front of the mausoleum and the Governor of the Province receives the salute from a raised platform. The ceremonial parade is led by service bands followed by a cavalcade of jeeps. The soldiers turn their eyes right as they approach the saluting dais to present their affectionate homage to the departed hero.
